Week 1: One Picture, Million words

It is like a long route with no end. Who knows, maybe the end is just beyond the fog. Maybe we need to persevere a little bit more and keep moving forward: Joy comes in the morning. As we persevere, fulfill our responsibilities, and positively and actively listen and welcome feedback from our mentors/teachers/professors, we will not be stopped by any hurdles along the way. Let's keep our foot on the gas and everything will be alright. The image below is an analogy of how we might encounter hurdles as we move on our road to success. However, hurdles are not our enemies. They are opportunities for us to learn and grow, which is what we need as we reach the other side of the road, in other words, our destination.

Therefore, my attitude is always being ready to learn, grow, and be challenged consistently. This helps me to move forward and be okay with not knowing something/topic/subject. What's the worst that could happen? Maybe a question to my mentor/teacher/professor/peer won't hurt. Remember, we're all in this together. There are always people who are always willing to help: teachers/professors/tutors and peers. All we need to do is ask, and those hurdles will never stop us from moving forward.
I like the images that you decided to write about and I think the analogies are great. I like the mindset that you have going into this semester. It's about understanding the hey if something get's in the way I am going to get over it and be a better person because of it. I hope you have a great semester this year!

DeleteYes to all of this, Jeredie!
DeleteYour analogies are great for this semester and I am also excited to see what it brings. We will keep our feet on the gas while watching learning about the science and art behind the film industry. Hurdles are going to be there, but there won't be one that won't be fun to jump over!

DeleteI really like your use of pictures in your blog. The pictures throughout help the reader focus on the point of moving forward. And that is something that I can agree with and is something I personally try to do as much as possible. No matter what happens keep moving forward.
