Week 9: My Very First Edited Video
Hello there! Hello and welcome to my very first edited video. In response to one of the last comments, I decided to share with you my very first edited video. In this personal effort, I aimed to use editing methods that I had never used previously. Also, be aware that the content of the video above does not accurately reflect reality. After being captivated by Professor Kyburz's demonstration in class, I decided to devote 4 hours to creating a 30 seconds movie. Though not ideal, it let me appreciate the difficulty of creating an entire film.
In my personal project, I pretended to own a YouTube channel called "MathTime." In this video, MathTime provides a platform for students to learn more about calculus and get all of their questions regarding various calculus subjects addressed. The endeavor was time-consuming, yet I was surprised at how quickly time passed. I had a lot of fun playing around with adding items to the video and adjusting what viewers will see as relevant to the core aim of "MathTime" in different time frames. I was surprised by the outcome, but only because I was in charge of it.
Respect to all directors worldwide. Thanks to this cinema lesson, I'm learning to love every movie ever made, starting with the "boring" ones. It's incredible how much effort went into this art. It took me 4 hours to come up with something concrete (and by tangible, I mean 30 seconds long video). I can only imagine how much labor goes into producing an entire season of a show.
