Week 15: Wrap Party

What a better time to wrap up and look back before I took this film class. In today's blog, I will talk about my favorite screenings, what I loved about them and what I learned from them. In addition, I will talk about what I discovered about my self as a film spectator.
Wrapping up is not always easy, especially when you are saying goodbye to people, which not a lot of people are good at including me. Anyway, let's talk about film. My favorite media viewing was Rear Window. A part from the fact that Jeff, one of the main character, was weird in the way he treated his to be girlfriend with a mysogynistc inclunation, I loved how the movie embodied all three acts and was easy to follow. I believe the movie lesson for me was, not to judge a book as its cover. Most people are not as we assume them to be.
Lastly, I believe there is one important thing I got form taking this class. It is to appreciate the work of directors no matter how cheap the final product looks like. After going through the fascinating project, I had a taste of what filmmaking looks like. Now, I am less judgement and focus more on the overall message of a film.
